The Teenie Beanie Babies were individually packaged in small plastic bags and given to customers who purchased a Happy Meal or other food item. There were 12 different Teenie Beanie Baby animals in the first phase of the promotion that ran from May 21 through June 3; four International Bears available from June 3 through June 17; and one McDonalds crew exclusive bear presented to employees on May 21.
